Strange fantasy in which Ted and Katy are reminiscing about when they were young, just seven years old, the time of the big snow just after new year. The snow got really heavy and deep and they were out against their parents orders. They became lost and came upon a house. The house was cold and empty and they didn't know where they were. Then a kindly old lady who owns the house turns up and puts them to work plucking feathers from her geese and talks to them so nicely...
