Storm, The

Broadcast: November 4, 1942
Added: Sep 13 2020

This prizewinning play was written by Robert Bruce Fuller a young author graduated from Illinois University and majoring in Journalism.

It's a cold wet day and Dr Christian is concerned with the lack of medical facilities in the country. Folks don't always have the money or time to get to a city hospital and there seems to be a lack of money from the health board. Dr Christian is having a "blue" day and feels like he's about to burst open and all the troubles of the world are pushing against him. He is concerned at all the people that need his help and it makes him feel inadequate. If only he could have some money. Then, as he settles down during a storm an opportunity to make some money presents itself to him but it puts him in a moral dilemma.
