In February 1949, Universal Studios announced that they would soon release to movie theaters throughout the country, a new motion picture entitled The Life of Riley, concerning the trials and tribulations of one Chester A Riley. By a very odd coincidence, this happens to be the name of our hero, but Riley knows nothing of this motion picture, and has other things to concern him - like his federal income tax return!
