The 20th June (1954) is Father's Day but unfortunately Phil Harris won't be home that day because he figured that since Father's Day is a day when he gets to do as he pleases, he's decided he wants to go fishing. As he and Remley are going through the closet to get his fishing gear together they come across Phil's present from the girls, a pink bed jacket! Phil decides he's going to take it back to the store and exchange it for something he does want. However one way or another it seems he's getting a pink bed jacket for Father's Day!
