Any good American like Chester A. Riley would invite a soldier to a party on New Years Eve but inviting a whole company, that's what Riley did by mistake. When he invited a soldier he happened to meet, and wrote in his invitation that he requested his company, he inadvertently invited the whole platoon all two hundred of them! 

Chester reads a poem at the end, both funny and endearing.
