Captain Daniel Lee of the 3rd Massachusetts Regiment joined the Continental Army right after the battle at Trenton, and now in 1782, Lee is attached to General Hayson's headquarters in Pennsylvania. Captain Lee considered himself to be quite ordinary, so it was a surprise for him to be called personally to General Hayson's office.
