Today as we look in on the Harris' Alice is preparing to wash the lunch dishes and Phil has just returned from a band rehearsal. The kids arrive home early from school in a boisterous mood  with a note from the teacher that she wants to see their mother.  Alice was hoping to get on with some chores so Phil says not to worry he'll get on with dishes. When Remley calls round he's roped in to help but, oh dear, I don't think it's one of their better ideas to clean the dishes in the laundry washing machine.
