William Louis "Bill" Hudson (born October 17, 1949) is an American musician and actor. He is best known for being in the band The Hudson Brothers.
Life and career
Hudson was born in Portland, Oregon. His mother, Eleanor (née Salerno), was Italian American.
As an actor, Hudson appeared in the film Big Shots (1987) and three episodes of the series Doogie Howser, M.D. from 1989 to 1992.
He married actress Goldie Hawn in 1976 and together they had two children, both of whom are actors, Kate and Oliver Hudson. After their divorce in 1980, the children were raised by Hawn and her domestic partner, Kurt Russell.
Hudson married Cindy Williams, of Laverne & Shirley fame, in 1982. They had two children, Emily and Zachary Hudson. That marriage also ended in divorce in 2000. He also has a daughter, Lalania Hudson born in 2006.
Hudson wrote his memoir Two Versions: The other side of fame and family. The book was released in December of 2011.
