This is a character comedy about the renowned baseball player known as Alibi Ike. Alibi Ike belongs to the ages now like Annie Oakley because he too gave his name to a type, to an act and to a tradition. We go back to 1917 to recreate the games and times of the Chicago White Sox, the guys and dolls and their whole daffy wonderfully world.
