What a superb bunch of house guests!

What a superb bunch of house guests!

Wow! What a fabulous lockdown house. Thank you for everyone who took part, you couldn't have chosen better guests - what a superb bunch!

Have you been wondering exactly who the winners of the lockdown polls were? I'll wager you have! So let's get on with the big reveal...

In our lockdown house, the first song on the playlist was, of course, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy! We had a wonderful singalong of war songs on VE Day with your chosen guest, Bing Crosby, accompanied by Jack Benny playing his violin.

Your chosen mother figure, Harriet Nelson, kept us all sweet, with lots of cupcakes, so as it was a tie between Ozzie Nelson and James Hardy, we decided that we'd simply have both of the old fellows in the lockdown house, rather than split Ozzie and Harriet up!

It was another close shave between the doctors in the poll, but ultimately, Doc Gamble won his place at our table.

Marshall Matt Dillon clinked his silver spurs on the lockdown stairs for our get together, and we're hoping that we won't be getting a bill from Johnny Dollar's action packed expense account for his travel.

In addition to all the guests you chose, the house wouldn't have been the same without someone to educate the kids, so we invited Our Miss Brooks along, and the wonder dog, Yukon King - which of course, gave us a good reason to go out for fresh air and exercise!

Finally, since we had the master of all quizzes in the house - Groucho Marx - he entertained us all with a little bit of 'Guess Who'... We've recreated the questions in a quiz that you can take too. I wonder if you will score better than Joy or I?

You can take the quiz by clicking on the It's Quiz Time link over on the left menu. Good luck!

This week, you'll find lots of shows starring all of your lockdown house winners, as those are the stars you have shown you are so fond of.

So while you shelter in place - don't be alone, spend your time with your favorite otr radio show, and be sure to share your comments on RUSC or drop us an email.

Happy listening my friends,

Ned Norris
