Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving, step back in time and immerse yourself in the delightful world of Life With Luigi. This beloved old time radio program, which aired from 1948 to 1953, captured the hearts of listeners with its heartwarming and hilarious stories.

Led by the talented stars J. Carrol Naish and Alan Reed, each episode unfolded like a slice of life, exploring themes of friendship, love, dreams, and the pursuit of happiness. Luigi's struggles as an immigrant navigating a new culture were met with resilience and optimism, showcasing the indomitable spirit of those who come to America in search of a better life.

I was thrilled to discover a brand-new to RUSC episode for Thanksgiving.

Moonlighting At The Daisy Jones Pie Factory

Luigi wants to have a special Thanksgiving dinner for his friend Pasquale but he doesn't have enough money to buy the food. To help him he gets an evening job at Daisy Jones Pie Factory for a week but that means he has to miss his night-school class.
Pasquale, who wants Luigi to marry his fat daughter Rosa, thinks that Luigi is meeting a love interest called Daisy and out of spite, reports Luigi to school for playing truant. Luigi is almost expelled from school until they discover the true reason for his absence.
Pasquale makes a heartfelt speech for Thanksgiving.
