But if you can't decide, there are a few old time radio shows that are particularly popular for St. Patrick's Day, and I've listed these below for you to enjoy.

Hallmark Playhouse (March 13, 1952)
A tender tale from a fine young, Irish novelist about her home country. It will be a poignant reminder for many, of happy days amidst hills and glens, the blue smoke curling up from the turf fires, a soft rain from the sea, and the lilting voices of people who are surely among the liveliest and most lovable in the world.

Burns and Allen Show (March 17, 1941)
This classic comedy episode features Gracie Allen getting swept up in the excitement of a St. Patrick's Day parade, much to the chagrin of her husband, George Burns. 

Town Hall Tonight with Fred Allen (March 17, 1937)
Fred Allen's signature wit is on full display in this episode, which features Irish jokes, musical performances, and a hilarious commercial parody, and a special performance by Irish tenor John McCormack.

Duffy's Tavern (March 16, 1949)
This episode of the beloved barroom sitcom features a visit from a bully who claims to be Irish. It's a fun listen for fans of the show's wacky characters and quick wit, and features a visit from a leprechaun who grants wishes. 

Have Gun Will Travel (March 17, 1952)
This western drama takes a turn for the Irish on St. Patrick's Day when Paladin befriends an Irishman who is accused of a crime. 

Lux Radio Theater (March 17, 1952)
An enchanting romance starring Dennis Day as an insurance investigator sent to Ireland to investigate the theft of the Blarney Stone. Introduced as "one of those charming whimsical tales that only the Irish can tell.".

Radio Reader's Digest (March 13, 1947)
It's a true story called Sweet Rosie O'Grady, and is the tender tale of a girl, a boy and a golden shamrock, which stars Miss Dorothy McGuire as an Irish girl in love.

Hallmark Playhouse (March 16, 1950)
This is the award-winning fantasy from the novelist Charles O'Neal, about a young Irishman who heads out into the world to find his fortune, and along the way dreams of Una, the queen of the fairies, who grants him three wishes...

Beat the Band (1940)
The popular panel quiz show where contestants try to identify musical selections. Their 1940 St. Patrick's Day episode featured a round of Irish songs.
