In today's episode, the Green Hornet and Kato are going to smash a counterfeiting ring. Tommy Sutton is sixteen years old, a little bit wild, and has managed to get himself mixed up with an underworld gang. It had all started a couple of months ago, when his Ma had asked him to go to the shops for some bread, and there was a man standing on the street corner who asked Tommy to get him some cigarettes whilst he was in there. He handed Tommy the money - which unbeknownst to him was a counterfeit note. Tommy didn't know that though, until he came back and the shopkeeper came out of the shop to chase him down. Tommy was manhandled into a taxi and the stranger took him to the other side of town, where the man and his boss threatened to turn Tommy in to the police if he didn't do some more jobs for them...
