The Lone Ranger and Tonto followed a trail that crossed the great northern plains of Texas, and wound into the foothills. As they rode, the Lone Ranger was talking about how they expected the snow to arrive soon. Suddenly, they saw and heard a rider shouting for help, on a runaway horse. The horse had been spooked by a rabbit. The lady was Laura, and she had been on her way to meet Bob from the Ranch O. Their fathers were opposing ranchers - one being a sheep farmer and the other a cattle farmer. The two men hated one another's trade, and it was starting a war on the range.
