As we look in on the little community of Pine Ridge today we find Lum in the lobby of the Mountain View Inn questioning Abner about a parcel he was supposed to sign for. Abner is getting himself all mixed up on the story he is telling but he aint fooling Lum none. It seems that Abner has mistakenly helped Detective Wilson, the real jewel thief, get away with the jewels.
