The Lone Ranger and Tonto reined up on a ridge above the beautiful Santa Rosa Valley. It had been a long time since this was Mexican property, but the rancheros still maintained their Spanish customs, and the ranchos - gleaming white in the moonlight - were typical of those one found south of the border. The masked man and the Indian were watching a band of horsemen out on the plain below them, and wondering what, or who, the posse were looking for. Seeing a solo rider urging his horse up the trail, the Lone Ranger decided that they should intercept him - and found him to be a romantic man, trying to woo the sister of a ranchero from the next valley to his own ranch. The brother wasn't happy about it...
