Well yesterday Miss Hartford the stores new general manager discovered that Lum and Abner had nearly a thousand dollars in owed unpaid accounts and if hey could collect the major part of this outstanding money they could save themselves from bankruptcy. well the old fellows were very reluctant to attempt to collect from their friends but Miss Hartford insisted they do it immediately!
