Miriam Mallory is pushing forty intelligent, has a good job but is plain and somehow marriage has passed her by. But then her boss falls in love with her but he is married and Miriam knows that his wife won't give him a divorce. He declares that he loves Miriam so much that he is prepared to kill his wife to be with her.
