There is a curious connection between an entry in the records of the British weather bureau and a corresponding item in the annals of the police department of Plymouth. The first indicates that at 9pm on the night of August 18th 1937 a radio warning disturbed tourists and vacationers on the southern channel of south of England. So much for the weather reports, the police records indicated that on the same night, a night when the heat had put everyone on edge murder was taking place in the minds of a least one human being.
