Mrs Prince comes from the oldest and most illustrious family in town. Her ancestry goes back to the Mayflower and her great, great, great grandfather was the revolutionary hero Jonathan Jackson and she makes a point of telling everyone in Riversend. She has become such a snob that she thinks no one is good enough for her daughter Helen including her boyfriend Johnny Dodge. Dr Christian tries to make her understand that her idiotic snobbery went of fashion years ago but it takes a visit in a dream to cure her of her snobbery.
