Adam Gates worked in the English department and refused to by a specimen in Professor Filo’s experiment and demanded to know what it was all about. Scientist Professor Filo had taken enormous amounts of data from each of his specimens and put it all in to his computer and he proved that everyone’s actions were completely predictable. Adam Gates wanted to prove to the professor that he did have free will.
