Terry Hanson had been sailing a toy boat on a creek that wound through the valley. As he walked toward the small cabin where he lived with his father and mother, he suddenly saw black smoke rising straight up into the still air behind the hill, and then he saw the flaming cabin! Before the door lay the body of a man, and nearby in a formless heap - a woman. With a cry of anguish he raced over and bent over the lifeless bodies of his parents!
