Today's story began one afternoon in Utah. Hoppy and California had finished a business trip to San Francisco, and were heading back to the Bar 20. They had taken the train, but were nearing Desert City, where they were to get off, and make the rest of the journey on their horses. So far, the only other man on the coach hadn't spoken - but he'd certainly taken an interest in them from his seat across the aisle...
