The mayor of New York City designated Saturday October 16th as Sweetest Day, a day on which all New Yorkers are asked to remember to make someone happy. Then, the citizens committee of Sweetest Day nominated Al Capp's creation, The Shmoo, the sweetest creature of the year, because of the happiness and peace which The Shmoo propagates, and the aid he will be in restoring humanity's faith in mankind, and today The Shmoo's creator, Al Capp meets his critics in a battle about his new book.
