Three couples are brought on stage to be interviewed and quizzed by Groucho Marx. Each is given $20 to bet as much as they want on four questions from the category they choose. The money doubles each time they get a question correct and the one with the most money goes on to answer the jackpot question with a chance of winning the $4500, which has built up in the pot!

First couple chosen from the studio audience are a doctor from Illinois, Dr. Eugene Hoffman who will partner with a housewife from the audience Mrs Mildred Gordon, from Kansas.
