As we look in on the little community of Pine Ridge today, we find the old fellows in the Jot 'em Down store. Lum is talking on the telephone to Miss Rowena, who has just arrived back in town. Lum believes that she would like to call by to invite him to spend Thanksgiving with her - but Abner is a little more cynical - especially since she never mentioned food, dinner, or Thanksgiving!
