It was nearly morning as the Lone Ranger and Tonto raced through the back streets of Omaha. Not a soul was stirring, and a chill March wind added to the loneliness of the night. The masked man and his companion rode in silence, until they reined up in front of John Russell's home. The two had discovered a starvation camp at Denver, game wasn't good, their canned goods were all gone, and they were down to their last bag of flour. If food doesn't reach them in a month, they'll starve to death. The lives of thousands are in the hands of John, who is the only one who can provide a relief train across the prairies.
