This is the true story of Eddie Rickenbacker whose adventure began as a secret air force mission to inspect pacific air bases in WWII. What follows is almost all out of memory therefore the sequence of events may be uncertain. 

Finding himself himself cast adrift on a tiny raft in the South Pacific, his instinct then was not to remember but to live. 

Following a crash landing of their aircraft Eddie Rickenbacker recalls the twenty three days spent on an open raft in the open pacific. With plenty of time to think, Eddie's mind flashes back upon his life.
