J.M. Barrie's "Quality Street" is a comedic play set during the Napoleonic Wars. Two sisters, Phoebe and Susan Throssel, run a school for girls. A young man, Valentine Brown, falls for Phoebe but joins the war before proposing. After a decade, Valentine returns a hero, but Phoebe feels past her prime. To win him back, she creates a youthful persona named Miss Livvy, leading to hilarious complications as she juggles both identities.
