Junior has captured the Purple Rider and is returning with him and several members of Kyle's gang who were the Rider's prisoners. Meanwhile, Dick Tracy and Pat, en route to the Rider's hideout, meet Junior and his prisoners coming back. When Tracy asks the Purple Rider to unmask himself, the rider wheels his horse to a dangerous cliff, and leaps across to the other side with Tracy after him. But Dick soon lassos the escaping rider and pulls him from his horse...
