The story of the proverbial pot of gold, which was supposed to be found at the end of the rainbow, was duplicated in an event which occurred on the frontier of our west in the 1870s. The boldness and bravery of the famed Cisco Kid was the only thing that prevented this incident from becoming a dire tragedy.
