It was late in the afternoon when Lieutenant Quincy entered the private office of his commanding officer at Fort Nelson. A package of important documents needed to reach Fort Apache quickly, and secretly, and he was entrusting the Lieutenant with the task. Some very powerful and unscrupulous men would give a lot to know the contents of the package, but as yet they were unaware of its existence. The documents were to be delivered to the Lone Ranger in St Clements, Texas, who would then ensure they reach Fort Apache.
