Jake Larkin was on trial for robbery and murder. The principle witness was Sally Martin, who had been working for banker Thompson for two and a half years, and she was in the bank on the morning of June 15th. A thief had entered the bank whilst she was in the back office with Mr Thompson. They heard a struggle and a shot rang out. The thief had shot another worker at the bank, Hank, but he had managed to pull away the man's bandana in the struggle. Sally saw his face, and drew a picture of the robber after he got away on horseback, which is what is being submitted as evidence as we join the trial...
