Peter Drake is in the diary of fate today. He is the treasurer of a large company. He has a comfortable life and an occupation that required few important decisions and dealt primarily with numbers. He would have gone on in his work secure and contented had it not been for his wife Marsha. She was blindly proud and avaricious but Peter loved her and it was because of that love that he finds himself in the bedroom of his home with the nozzle of a pistol pressed against his temple.
