It was a two day ride to the shabby city of Tascosa, and Matt was there at the request of the citizens committee, who want him to hire a new Sheriff for the town. The current Sheriff is as dishonest as they come. Tascosa was a pretty wild town a few years back, and they needed a rough man to clean it up. The trouble is, after the current Sheriff ran the old gang out, he took over for himself, and now it's worse than before!
