Lum made a bad mistake yesterday when talking with Squire Skimp. He boastingly raised the value of their rabbits to ten dollars a pair, only to learn later that the Squire had just been appointed deputy tax assessor. Right now, we find Lum, Abner and Cedric at the store, and Lum is still trying to work out a way to get those taxes reduced...
