To continue the Lone Ranger's adventures, the masked man and Tonto had been mystified because so many outlaws were trying to get inside the jail. Jimmy Ives and Luke Sutter had staged a fake hold-up which placed Jimmy behind bars. King Larson - a gambler - had feigned drunkenness to accomplish the same purpose. Then the Lone Ranger, with blazing guns and trip hammer fists had forced his way into the jail. He found Ives and Larson fighting over a few adobe bricks they had removed from the wall. A moment later, the masked man was wounded, as he and Tonto ran to escape an angry posse of citizens. Now, after dodging through the rear door of the cafe, he was being aided in his escape by a beautiful, dark haired girl...
