Outlaw's Son

When the law finally caught up with Tom Parsons, a criminal career was ended. They hanged Parsons at dawn, and buried him at noon and the only one to mourn was an eighteen year old son. Jack went on his way silently without a friend, and turned his hand to any job that was offered, and he knew what people said about him... He could never be trusted because of the reputation of his father. He lived in a small one-room cabin, and kept it spotlessly clean, neat as a pin, but the only one who ever saw the inside was a lad of fourteen, Dan Green.
