One of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies! Othello, a respected general serving Venice, secretly marries Desdemona, a younger Venetian woman. Iago, who feels passed over for a promotion by Othello and harbors a secret grudge, begins plotting their downfall. Iago manipulates Othello into believing Desdemona is cheating on him with Cassio, Othello's lieutenant. Iago uses stolen items and cleverly crafted situations to make his lies appear true.
