Senator Hooper is arriving in Dodge and Marshall Matt Dillon, Chester Proudfoot and Doc Adams are all at the train station to meet him. There is also somebody there who means him harm as the Senator is shot in the arm. It may give him a bad impression of Dodge but at least he is still alive.
