Sheriff John Miller introduces the show and tells us that only the most hardened and desperate criminal would dare to hold up a mail train because they know that not only will the Sheriff forces and local police be hot on their trail but also the federal G-men who will never give up until the robbers are punished. When his office received a flash that the mail had been robbed his men devoted their entire energy to tracing the bandits. The crime occurred in November 1930.
