It was midnight when the Lone Ranger and Tonto reached the banks of the Missouri and turned to the north. Suddenly, a red glare leaped to the sky ahead of them, and as they rounded a bend, they could see a cabin in flames. From inside the cabin, a man's voice called out for help, and the masked man and the Indian raced their mounts toward the fire.
