Radio’s outstanding theater of thrills brings you a full 60-minutes of suspense Emlyn Williams’s Night Must Fall directed by Anton M. Leader and produced by Robert Montgomery. Robert Montgomery also stars in the leading role as the charming young Irish man Danny whom the rich invalided old Mrs Bransom, played by Dame Mae Witty, employs and is charmed by. Montgomery and Witty play the same roles that they played in the 1937 film version, as does Mathew Boulton as Inspector Belsize. Heather Angel plays the part of Mrs Bransom’s niece Olivia Grayne who is not so charmed by Danny and believes he is the murderer. However this does not stop her from becoming fascinated by him and strangely attracted towards him.
