An a musing story in which, grouchy storekeeper JV gets it in his head that his employee Miss Minnie Marvin is in love with him and pursuing him and he tells D Christian he is not happy about it and is a wreck. He only gave her the job because Dr. Christian thought it would be good for her after years at home looking after her poorly pa. JV tells Dr. Christian that if he ever does decide to marry he will make a point to fall in love with a rich girl!
