Host of the show Bing Crosby opens the show with the cast, sharing stories of their Christmas and the gifts they gave or received. The musical curtain is raised with the first tune, Cuanta La Gusta. The next song performed by Bing is The Night Has a Thousand Eyes. When Bing is harmonizing with the Mills Brothers later in the show, he loses his breath and exclaims "Who the hell picked out this key ... Dennis Day?!" It's a great thirty minutes of easy entertainment.
