It's going to cost Fibber  $3.75 to get his tattered old hat cleaned. The hat cost him less than that to buy it new so Fibber decides he's gong to buy a new hat instead.  Fibber gets talked into buying an expensive Homburg fedora and with it he gains a new posh personality!
