Harry and Lucile were very much in love convinced that nothing could keep them apart not even death. Lucile wanted to get married straight away but Harry said they would have to wait a while because his father did not approve as he felt she was not good enough for his son. Harry agreed that in two weeks they would go together and talk to his father. But even though his father was suffering from the plague he still would not have Lucile in his house, Lucile only a shopkeeper’s daughter.
