Broadcast: 30th September 1948

Homer is a pathetic, henpecked husband who couldn't say 'boo' to a goose to save his life. Watching Edward G. Robinson in Little Caesar is a life changing experience for him. He wants to be Edward G. Robinson, and begins to imitate his idol in spare moments and spin daydreams in which he is the tough hero. The more his wife gets on his nerves, the more he sees himself as his idol, until finally he thinks: If Edward G. Robinson's wife treated him like my wife treats me, what would he do? Why, rub her out, of course...
