George bumps in to an old friend Les who is working at MGM – as a plumber! George invites him back for dinner this evening and Les agrees so long as he doesn’t tell Gracie what he does for a living. No it’s not that he’s embarrassed not to be in the movie business just that now when anyone finds out what he does for a living they want some plumbing job doing. George assures him that their sink is ok but when he goes home and tells Gracie he has invited a friend for dinner she replies, “Oh, dear you would have to invite company the one night our sink is blocked up…”
