It looks as though Squire Skimp got a little more than he bargained for when he appointed himself treasurer for the Lum and Abner Mars Expedition Corporation. Bills for equipping the rocket ship had been pouring into the Squire's office, and so far he hadn't been able to raise enough capital from the sale of stock to cover these mounting expenses. As we look in on the little community today, it's supper time, and we find Lum and Abner walking along the street heading for Luke Spears' Lunch Room.
